For our third consecutive year, MF&W employees are joining forces with Oakland Family Services in their Adopt-A-Family program. In lieu of buying each other gifts, our employees pool their cash donations to buy Christmas presents for a family in need. This year we are sponsoring a family consisting of a single mom with four little boys, ranging in ages 2 to 8. We have a couple of gals who will do the shopping, a couple more folks who will do the wrapping, and a couple more that will deliver the presents to the Oakland Family Services office in early December. A big thank you goes out to our generous employees who donate their time and money to spread Holiday Cheer!

On July 29th, “Team MFW” is participating in a fundraiser for the Gift of Life in honor of staff member, Kellie Zahara, and in memory of her son, Ryan.  See the attached link for her story and how you can help.

On April 27 and 28, Dylan Beadle attended the 4th Annual No-Fault Summit at St. John’s Convention Center in Plymouth, MI. The Summit presented constructive guidance in the world of Michigan’s No-Fault litigation, including Evidentiary Hurdles in Musculoskeletal and Brain Injury Cases, and Proving and Refuting Fraud in No-Fault Cases. The Summit also included discussions on the application of controversial cases, such as Bazzi v. Sentinel and the impact on innocent third parties, as well as Covenant v. State Farm, which has the No-Fault field holding its breath in anticipation of a Supreme Court decision.

Moblo, Fleming, and Watt participated in the 17th Annual Central Michigan Adjustor's Association Vendor Night on March 9, 2017. The theme was Red Carpet at the Movies. The firm's representative "movie stars" for the event included (from left to right) Lisa Baluha, Dan Fleming, Kristina Macionski, and Brandon Heintzelman. They met many great people, both insurance company claim representatives and other vendors. We look forward to participating again next year!

The firm is pleased and excited to announce the Brandon S. Heintzelman has been named a partner of the firm, effective January 1, 2017. Brandon will continue to represent clients in his new role, but will assume more administrative and leadership responsibilities within the firm.
Michelle A. White, Legal Assistant, celebrated her 10 year anniversary with MFW. We are so happy to have her on our team.
Welcome Dylan M. Beadle who joined our firm as an Associate Attorney in January 2017. You can find his full profile in the Attorney section.
We also welcome our newest Legal Assistant, Kellie Zahara, who is working with Brandon and Kristina.

MFW has registered to participate in the Central Michigan Adjusters Association’s 17th Annual Vendor Night on March 9,, 2017 in Lansing, MI. The theme for the evening is Red Carpet/Movies.

MFW employees strongly believe in giving back to their community and have been involved in numerous charities over the years, including Gleaners Food Bank, March of Dimes, Susan G. Komen and American Brain Tumor Association. For the last several years, during the Holidays, we have joined forces with Oakland Family Services in their Adopt-A-Family program. All employees pool donations and we are able to provide two families with Christmas gifts that they otherwise could not afford.
